Biography
Chad Keanu has a deep-rooted commitment to service, leadership and operational excellence to Brigham Young University–Hawaii. I am a proud North Shore resident and graduate of Kahuku High School. I’ve spent more than 26 years building a distinguished career at the Polynesian Cultural Center (PCC). Starting in food service in 1999, I moved to the Facilities Department in 2003, where I've spent over two decades mastering various maintenance trades and stepping into impactful leadership roles.
I am a lifelong learner, currently working toward a degree in Applied Business Management through BYU-Pathway Worldwide. I'm committed to advancing the mission of BYU–Hawaii, working with my department, and helping to create a meaningful experience for students, all based on the strong values of faith and hard work.
While I take pride in my professional contributions, my greatest priority and joy in life remain with my family. I've been happily married to my wife for 22 years, and together we are blessed with an 11-year-old son. Outside of work and academic responsibilities, I love making memories with my family and exploring the world together.
