Deborah Christensen

Sister Christensen is deeply committed to nurturing disciple learners and leaders—an ideal that aligns powerfully with the mission of BYU–Hawaii. As an adjunct professor of Business Communication, she integrates the principles of effective communication with gospel teachings, helping students unlock their personal power and divine potential.
Her own journey of discipleship is marked by a love of culture, language, and creation. This passion fuels her desire to connect with people across the globe and build bridges of understanding. Alongside her academic and spiritual pursuits, Sister Christensen strives to be an exceptional wife, mother, and daughter—living her values at home and in the classroom.
