Nina Mapu was raised in La’ie, Hawaii. She graduated from Kahuku High School in 1998 and went on to study Pre-Medicine at Hawaii Pacific University with a goal of becoming an oral surgeon. After 2 years of study she took a break to pursue an exciting career opportunity in sales and continues to love learning as much as she can both in and outside of the classroom. Nina brings with her a wealth of experience and knowledge from her previous roles in sales and marketing, commercial banking and telecommunications and is excited to be a part of the BYU–Hawaii ohana.
Nina currently serves as an Administrative Assistant for the Faculty of Business and Government. She enjoys spending time with her extended family, loves testing out new recipes and is passionate about all things Home Improvement. She hopes to one day travel to all her "bucket list" destinations but in the meantime, looks forward to enjoying the special spirit that can only be felt right here at the Brigham Young University–Hawaii.
