Sam Merrill is originally from Houston, Texas. He served a full-time mission in Washington state, speaking Spanish. As a student, he worked at Media Productions and graduated from BYU–Hawaii in 2020 with a Bachelor’s of Science in biology. In his career as a freelance videographer/photographer, he has worked with clients across the United States and overseas.
He met his wife, Aubrey, in 2017 and they were married in 2020. Together they enjoy the outdoors, local food trucks, and games. Sam continues to produce, direct and film as the Assistant Production Manager. He loves the creative process and working with the students.
