Biography

Savani Aupiu is from Laie, Hawaii. She received a bachelor's in History from BYU-Provo in 2006, and a master's in History from the University of Utah in 2009. She is an adjunct Professor in the Culture, Language & Performing Arts Department and has enjoyed teaching for the last ten years. Savani values the importance of education and has a deep passion for serving others. To better serve individuals in her community, she decided to go back to school to pursue a master's degree in Social Work at the University of Hawaii. She is currently in her last year and specializes in Behavioral Mental Health. She hopes to pursue a Ph.D. and become a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
