Biography
Dr. Chase is the youngest child of former BYUH faculty members Lance and Londa Chase. Born and raised in Laie, he is a graduate of BYU–Hawaii Preschool, Laie Elementary, and Kahuku High School. He attended BYUH and completed his bachelor’s degree at Weber State University. He earned master’s and doctoral degrees from the University of Utah in exercise and sport science. Ben is a Laie Boy, die-hard Kahuku fan, and enjoys relaxing, sports, exercise, the beach, and spending time with family and friends. He said he recognizes the special opportunity and honor he has to be a member of the BYU–Hawaii ohana.
