Biography
Aloha! My name is Bryan Estall, and I'm from Tahiti, French Polynesia. I'm a proud BYUH alumni, having graduated in Spring 2023 with a degree in Intercultural Peacebuilding. I'm thrilled to join the BYU-Hawaii community and contribute to its growth. Before attending BYU–Hawaii, I served on a mission in the mighty Vanuatu Port Vila Mission, specifically in the French-speaking area of New Caledonia.
I am happily married to my beautiful wife, Talesha, who is currently a student here. Some of my interests include learning through reading books, interacting with people, and gaining hands-on experience. I have a deep appreciation for nature and enjoy spending time outdoors, taking in the beautiful surroundings we have here in Hawaii.
Soccer is my passion; it truly is the greatest sport on earth. I also love spearfishing, growing food, cooking, and, of course, eating.
What excites me most about working here is the opportunity to be a part of something truly special. As a former student, I've seen how dedicated the Church is to its students and laser focus on forging future leaders both at the Church and in their communities. BYU–Hawaii has a unique culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and mutual support. Every time you see the staff here, they all seem to be very happy and work together, and I wanted to be part of that.
