Carol Skinner

Biography

Sister Skinner received her PhD in School Psychology in 2001 from the University of Northern Colorado. For 12 years she was in a private group psychological practice in State College, Pennsylvania where she provided evaluations and treatment of children, adolescents, and young adults who struggled with issues of anxiety, depression, ADHD, autism, OCD, and learning disabilities. Sister Skinner and her husband, Howard, then served as humanitarian missionaries in the Republic of Congo for 18 months. For the last two years, Sister Skinner has been employed for a large social service agency in the Columbus, Ohio area. She looks forward to retiring in May 2021 and then serving as a senior missionary at BYU-Hawaii in the counseling department.
