Biography
Sister Dayna Carter Christensen was born and raised in the Salt Lake City, Utah area. She met Richard at Utah State University where she was serving on the High School Relations organizations. They were married in 1971. She completed her bachelor’s degree in 1972. Dayna is the mother of six and grandmother of 12. She taught elementary school before their move to Cedar City in 2000. For the next eight years, she devoted herself to caring for aging parents in her home. Since Richard retired in 2011, they have served missions to Bulgaria and the Kirtland, Ohio Historic sites.
