Biography

Dylan Masaniai was born and raised in the beautiful town of Lā‘ie, Hawai‘i. He is a proud graduate of Kahuku High School, where he also worked as a performer at the Polynesian Cultural Center, sharing his culture with visitors from around the world. After high school, Dylan served a full-time mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Sacramento, California, where he had the life-changing opportunity to meet his wife, Addison. Upon returning home, Dylan began working with NOKA Solutions, where he gained valuable hands-on experience in a variety of trades, including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general maintenance. His time there helped shape his technical skills and deepen his passion for problem-solving and service. Dylan is known for his strong work ethic, dependability, and determination to complete every task with excellence. He brings the heart, humility, and integrity of his father into every job he undertakes. As a Maintenance Technician at BYU–Hawaii, Dylan is committed to supporting the campus community and contributing to the mission of the university through diligent, thoughtful work.
