Kīhei Nahale-a graduated from UH Hilo with his bachelor’s of art in Hawaiian studies and has been working in Hawaiʻi culture and ʻāina based education for over 25 years. Originally from Hilo on the island of Hawaiʻi, Kīhei moved to Koʻolauloa in 2002 and has worked the past ten years in developing collaborative community-based initiatives that create positive, sustainable impacts for the ʻāina and its people. Kīhei has two children and resides in the Ahupuaʻa of Keana with them and his kōkoʻolua aloha, Noheahiwahiwa.
