Jacqueline Rasmussen is a graduate of BYU Hawaii. She also served a full-time mission in Brisbane, Australia. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry Education. This included research work with both the science department and the education department, as well as 6 months of student teaching. Her research in the science department was focused on starches in rice cooked with different methods and her research with the education department was focused on how student’s perceived usefulness of science classes affected their performance. She is passionate about helping students from every major gain meaningful skills from their general science classes.
