Biography
Janan Welch was born in California and raised in Utah. It is there that she met and married her husband Michael. He joined the Army a few years later and they moved with their young, growing family to Tennessee, Italy, Utah, Alabama, Alaska, Germany and then finally to Hawaii, where they happily retired from the military after almost 24 years. They’ve been in Hawaii for five years, and never want to leave. When some of their children began attending BYU-Hawaii, they moved from Mililani to Laie. They have four children, Avienda married to Peter Bown, Olivia married to Ethan Loomis, Paige married to Kekoa Jensen, and a son Roan. They also have two Pomeranians Coco and Kipper. Janan loves the beach, cooking good food with her family, and travelling. She has worked at the mail center since March
