Biography
Jazzeth Kau serves as the HR Benefits Specialist in the Human Resources Department. Before relocating to Lāʻie, she worked as the Office Manager at the Student Connection and Leadership Center and as an Endorsement Specialist in the Honor Code Office at Brigham Young University in Provo. Prior to joining the HR team, she completed a two-year service mission in the Office of Honor, followed by another two-year service mission in the Human Resources Office.
Jazzeth earned both an Associate's and a Bachelor’s degree in Family and Human Services from Brigham Young University–Idaho and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree.
A passionate advocate for education, Jazzeth is dedicated to helping others grow and thrive. Outside of work, she serves as the Stake Relief Society President in the Lāʻie Hawaii Married Student Stake and volunteers as both a temple worker and service missionary at the Lāʻie Hawaii Temple.
Originally from McAllen, Texas, Jazzeth is fluent in Spanglish and enjoys a wide array of hobbies, including dancing, swimming, running, skiing, hiking, volleyball, and traveling. Most of all, she treasures spending time with her family. She is married to Kala Kau, and together they share a blended family of eight children and thirteen beloved grandchildren.
