OVERVIEW
Jenifer McGill grew up in Gilbert Arizona, served in the Paraguay Asuncion Mission, and married Shay McGill in 1995. She graduated from BYU with both her undergraduate (General Studies) and Graduate degree (MPA). Shay and Jenifer have lived in Texas, Arizona and Utah. Moving to Hawaii in 2022. Jenifer McGill works as a small business consultant, entrepreneur, and investor with a strong passion for serving others and fostering personal growth. She has devoted much of her life to nurturing and supporting her family, raising three boys of her own and caring for six other children. Her family continues to expand with the addition of a beautiful daughter in law in 2022.
Balancing the demands of caregiving with a professional career, Jenifer has worked as a freelance consultant for business owners and non-profits, helping organizations achieve their goals through strategic insights designed to build capacity, attract investment funds, and launch new initiatives. As a business owner, she was motivated by creating work opportunities not only for her family but also for her employees.
Since 2018, Jenifer has taught entrepreneurial courses for both BYU-Idaho and BYU–Hawaii. Teaching has provided many opportunities to be an active mentor and investor, supporting innovative ideas and entrepreneurs in achieving their visions. Her experience spans consulting, business strategy, and mentorship, with a consistent focus on empowering others to succeed.
