Biography

Kaeokalei Alo is one of our new full time Clinical Counselors at BYU-Hawaii! Ka’eo Alo was raised on the North Shore of Oahu and is a graduate of Kahuku High School, class of 2006. He then graduated from the University of Hawaii-Manoa in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science in Family Resources. In 2016 he received a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from the University of Utah.

Ka’eo met his eternal companion, Glorianna (Purcell) Alo, while working in Provo Utah and together they have 3 children. Most recently Ka’eo has owned and operated his own private practice in Provo Utah, for the last year and a half. Ka’eo also has experience working in residential treatment centers, acute care hospital settings, substance abuse recovery programs, detention centers, and much more. Ka’eo expresses that he is grateful to be back home in Laie, supporting and serving the BYUH student body and providing educational resources and support to the larger BYUH Ohana and surrounding communities.
