Kathleen Cowan, also known by friends and family as Lasi, was born in American Samoa, raised in Independence, Missouri, and graduated high school from Fort Osage High-class of 2012. She then graduated from BYU-Hawaii in 2021 with a Bachelors Degree in Social Work. Lasi met her eternal companion, Chesser Cowan, in the Philippines MTC, in 2014, where they both served their missions. Her background consists of customer service/tourism and Medical Social Work. Lasi has worked and performed in the Polynesian Cultural Center since 2018 and is now working full-time at BYUH as the Office Manager in the Counseling and Disability Services Office. Lasi has a love of serving those around her and is grateful to be able to do that here at BYUH.
