Laurie Stant started working at BYU–Hawaii in June 2022. She was born and raised on the east side of Oahu and had the privilege of attending Kahuku High School. At Kahuku High School is where she met her husband David now of 31 years. She had the opportunity to live overseas in Japan for many years and has four children, all who were born in Tokyo. She has been blessed with six wonderful grandbabies.
Laurie found her interest in food and beverage at a young age through her mom being a waitress for 30 plus years at the Crouching Lion Inn. She has worked at various eateries and enjoys what she does.
