LouAnn Randall grew up on a farm in North Dakota. After briefly attending BYU–Hawaii, she attended BYU in Provo and has a bachelor’s in nursing. Working for many years in the newborn intensive care unit and with neonatal life flight was great preparation for several mission trips with Children’s Surgery International to Ghana and Liberia with her two brothers and son. She has three children and six grandchildren, and she said she is happy to be serving as a healthcare missionary at BYUH working with the expectant and new moms.
