Luana Romney

Church Missionary
Office of Honor

Sister Luana Romney was born and raised in Ajo, Arizona. Elder Marshall Romney was born in Silver City, New Mexico, and raised in El Paso, Texas. They met at BYU when Elder Romney left his doctoral studies at the University of Texas to spend a summer in Provo. They were married 10 weeks and four days after their first date. This is their third mission. As singles, they both served in Argentina (different missions). As a family, they served in the Dominican Republic. Sister Romney is serving in Ho’okahua and Elder Romney in the Office of Honor. They are from Springville, Utah, and all seven of their children and 16 grandchildren live within an hour’s drive from their home. They are expecting their first great-grandchild in December. Sister Romney has been a stay-at-home mom. They said they both love reading and traveling – especially going on cruises.
