Work History

Brigham Young University-Hawaii – EIL Tutoring Coordinator, EIL/ELT Department Laie, HI 08/2026 – Current

• Managed and supervised 20+ EIL Tutors, ensuring their completion of individual and group tasks in a professional manner as they conducted tutoring sessions, completed CRLA Tutor training, and carried out assigned administrative tasks.
• Organized logistics of schedules, facility reservations, and program changes to better meet the needs of EIL students and ensure quality control and sustainability of the EIL Tutoring Program.
• Maintained records and confidentiality of tutors and tutees within the EIL Program.
• Liaised and collaborated with EIL Faculty and members of the EIL Tutoring Management team to make improvements to the EIL Tutoring Program.
• Recruited and hired qualified tutors to ensure tutor numbers could effectively and efficiently accommodate the growing number of EIL students participating in the EIL Tutoring Program every semester.
• Organized training materials and curriculum content for the TESOL training course connected to the tutor program.
• As the teacher of the TESOL course, ensured delivery of the content and peer leadership training.
