Mark Soderborg was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah. He graduated from BYU with a Bachelor of Arts in communication. He served a mission in the France Paris Mission. Mark met his wife Paula while working one summer at Temple Square. They were hired to take foreign language tours before full-time missionaries were assigned to temple square.
Mark worked for a construction news magazine before going back to school where he got his Master of Science in instructional technology.
He got a job at Snow College where he worked for 30 years. Mark and Paula raised their four children in Ephraim, Utah. All their children also served missions.
Elder Soderborg also worked at Western Governors University after retiring from Snow College.
The Soderborgs had never been to Hawaii before being called here as academic success missionaries, so they are delighted to be here.
