Nancy Hill

Biography

Sister Nancy Hill is a BYU-Hawaii alumni and Entrepreneur in Residence. She has earned a bachelor’s degree in business teacher-office education, a master’s degree in administrative management, and a doctorate in business education all from BYU in Provo. She founded Die Cuts With a View (DCWV) in 1992 with a $180 die-cutting machine. In the course of a decade, DCWV became a leader in the scrapbook industry, with more than 4,000 items supplied to more than 2,000 independently owned craft stores around the world. In 2005, DCWV was recognized as the 70th fastest growing company on the "Inc. 500 Fastest-Growing Private Companies" list and was the No. 1 Utah-based company recognized. Nancy has also served in a variety of leadership positions including the assistant dean of Student Life and the director of Institutional Research and Strategic Development at Utah Valley University. Sheis the mother of five children who have all followed in her entrepreneurial footsteps, and she is a doting “Nana” to 16 grandchildren.
