Orvin Jeffery Wilde is serving a full-time senior mission with his wife, Diane, at the Office of Honor at BYU–Hawaii. Prior to their service here, they served together on a full-time mission in American Samoa. Prior to their missions he worked professionally as a Certified Public Accountant for over forty years. He was a partner in a local accounting firm in Orem, Utah. He received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting from Brigham Young University. He was born and raised in Provo, Utah. He and his wife are the parents of eight children. They have 23 grandchildren. Prior to his service as a full-time missionary, as a young man, Jeffery lived on campus in Hale 2 for two months, studying the Samoan language in the Language Training Mission in 1973.
