Biography
Steve Olsen was born and raised in Northern Utah. He met his wife Kim at a call center where they were both employed. They dated for three years and were married in 1988. They moved to California where Steve worked as an Air Traffic Controller. They have 3 children, 2 sons, and a daughter. They are all married and have given them 6 grandchildren. They enjoy traveling and any activity that involves the family.
Eventually, Steve was transferred back to Utah and worked at the Salt Lake City Air Traffic Control Center. Steve retired in 2018. Elder and Sister Olsen call Syracuse, Utah home, but for now, they are serving at BYU–Hawaii in the Student Leadership & Service department. They are also helping out with the Temple Visitor Center missionaries. They will be serving here until the end of December 2021 and loving every minute of it.
