BIOGRAPHY
Tatyana Lukov was born and raised in Bulgaria, where she joined the Church and, a year later, served in the England Birmingham Mission. She received an Associate’s Degree in English from Ricks College (now BYU-Idaho), a Bachelor’s Degree in English and Psychology with a TESOL Certificate from BYU-Hawaii, and a Master’s Degree in TESOL from Hawaii Pacific University. After living in Rexburg, ID; Orange, CA; Provo, UT; and Houston, TX, her family moved to Laie in 2010 when her husband became a faculty member in the Science Department. She has been an EIL adjunct faculty member since 2012, and an International Student Advisor since January 2024. Some of her favorite past experiences were translating for General Conference (both in the Old Tabernacle and the new Conference Center) and teaching Bulgarian at the Provo MTC. She and her husband are the parents of three adult daughters and one grandson.
