The Smiths are from American Fork, Utah.

They have 4 children and 12 grandchildren. A daughter and her family in Richland Washington; another daughter and family near Kirtland, Ohio; a son and his family in Stansbury Park, Utah; and a daughter and her husband house sitting for them in their home in American Fork, Utah.

Elder Smith was a math teacher at American Fork Junior High, Salt Lake Community College and UVU and Sister Smith was a "Jack of all Trades" working at times as an elementary school teacher aide, sewing professionally, and running city recreation programs.

At BYUH, Elder Smith is excited to be teaching math and Sister Smith serves as Assistant to the Dean of Students.

Some interesting facts about the Smiths are that Elder Smith has done "Grandpa Math," teaching the grandkids fun math principles in such a creative way that the kids are excited to do it with him. Sister Smith, after competing in track and field for years, became a fitness trainer specializing in weights.
