Alison oversees the newly envisioned Ho'okahua department, which has broad stewardship for the Student Leadership & Service, Seasider Sports & Activities, Residential Life, and the Office of Honor departments.
Alison has worked at BYU-Hawaii since 2013 and has served as the head of the Student Leadership & Service department. She received a master's degree in educational psychology from Arizona State University and a bachelor's degree in history from BYU in Provo. Alison has valuable knowledge and experience in student development, leadership training, learning outcomes, clubs and organizations, student housing, service engagement, activity programming, and conduct intervention. She is trusted and respected by both peers and students for her collaborative approach, transformative ideas, and caring support.
