Biography
Abraham Manutai earned his Bachelor's degree from Brigham Young University–Hawai‘i in 2011. He began his career as a high school teacher shortly after graduating but transitioned into the hospitality industry, where he has since built over 13 years of experience. From 2012 to 2025, Abraham held key leadership roles in security, restaurant, and banquet management with Marriott Hotels across Waikīkī, Kaua‘i, and Turtle Bay.
Outside of work, Abraham was raised in Kaimuki and graduated from Moanalua High School. Abraham is a devoted family man who enjoys spending quality time with his loved ones and staying active through sports. He is married to Larie Kuulei Langi Manutai, a fellow BYU–Hawai‘i graduate. They met at a Young Single Adult activity at the Honolulu Stake. Together, they are proud parents to their son, Alapati, a junior at Kahuku High School.
