Biography
Brooke Peterson was appointed vice president for advancement at Brigham Young University–Hawaii on December 1, 2025. In this role, she advances the university’s reputation, resources, and relationships in support of its prophetic purpose. Her areas of oversight include Marketing and Communications, Career Services, University Events, Alumni Relations, University Scheduling, and Philanthropies.
Peterson joined BYU–Hawaii in 2024 as director of marketing and communications, where she led a comprehensive brand refresh, launched a redesigned website, and expanded social media engagement. Previously, she served as director of marketing at BYU–Pathway Worldwide, increasing brand visibility and enrollment, and held leadership roles in global communications at American Airlines.
Peterson holds a bachelor’s degree in communication from BYU–Idaho and a Master of Business Administration from Brigham Young University’s Marriott School of Business. She and her husband, Marc, enjoy traveling, outdoor activities, and time with their Airedale Terrier, Archie.
